Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the site owners. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which function in a comparable way.
2. How We Use Cookies
The Axilrate marketing website uses a minimal set of technologies. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies, or any third-party analytics such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.
The only third-party script loaded on this site is Google reCAPTCHA v3, used solely to protect our "Book a Demo" form from automated spam. reCAPTCHA may set cookies on your device as part of its bot-detection mechanism.
3. Legal Basis and Why There Is No Consent Banner
All cookies and storage listed below are strictly necessary for the site to function (login persistence, form protection, spam prevention) and fall within the "strictly necessary" exemption from prior opt-in consent under applicable cookie/ePrivacy rules. Because we do not use any non-essential cookies, no consent banner is currently required. If this changes — for example, if analytics or marketing cookies are added in future — we will implement an opt-in consent mechanism before any such cookies are set, and will update this page accordingly.
4. Cookie Details
| Cookie / Storage | Provider | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| `_GRECAPTCHA` | Bot detection / spam prevention on forms | Functional (necessary) | |
| localStorage (user) | Axilrate | Keeps you logged in to the client portal | Functional (necessary) |
| sessionStorage (draft) | Axilrate | Preserves unsaved form data within your current browser session | Functional (necessary) |
5. Third-Party Cookies — Google reCAPTCHA
Google reCAPTCHA is a security service that helps protect our forms from spam and abuse. When you interact with a form on this site, reCAPTCHA analyses your behaviour and may set cookies such as `_GRECAPTCHA` to distinguish humans from bots.
This data is processed by Google under their own privacy policy. You can learn more at policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Future Changes to Our Cookie Practices
Should Axilrate introduce analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies in the future, this policy will be updated to include a categorized cookie table, the retention period for each cookie, and a consent management mechanism allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies before they are set.
7. Your Choices
Because the cookies and storage we currently use are strictly necessary to operate the site and protect our forms, there is no option to opt out without affecting functionality.
You can clear cookies and browser storage at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing your login session will sign you out of the Axilrate client portal.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
9. Contact Us
